Our Club
We are the Nuclear is Clean Energy Club (NiCE) at Cal Poly, SLO. We are a motivated group of students with diverse educational and cultural backgrounds working together to educate people about the benefits and safety of nuclear technology.
Our Goal
We aim to educate members of the club, the public, and the Cal Poly community about nuclear reactors, energy, waste, and technology. Through meetings and other events, we will engage with the community about the use of nuclear technology to create carbon-free power grids and systems. Our main goal is to remove the stigma surrounding nuclear technology, and to educate our local and greater community on its safety, advantages, and reliability.

Our Plan
We want to educate club members, Cal Poly students, and members of the community about nuclear technology in order to remove the stigma that surrounds it. We plan to do this by hosting club meetings, trips, community events, educational seminars, special events, and more. Nuclear energy is the future!
